College Football and Stocks

I just woke up and there is less than an hour left to get some money into the market before the weekend comes. Sunday I will begin a weekly post called "Sunday Scorecard" where we will keep track of how we are doing overall.

I am going to explain the concept of Blue Chip stocks, then I am going to buy some.

A STAGNANT MARKET TODAY

In college football Blue chip players are players that have proven themselves to be Elite and on the highest level. They are highly sought after because they are an asset added to a team. They improve the overall team by being so good. Blue chip stocks is the same thing just with stocks.

It's time to sell out to the man, man.

If you are a Blue Chip stock hunter the number one thing you want to look for is STABILITY. Something that has been around for a long time and has garunteed money coming in for a long time in the future. And oh boy oh boy oh boy.... You just can't get more stable than UNCLE SAM.

L3Harris Technologies is a defense contractor. With 18 billion in cold hard cash pouring into it from congress. That sounds like stability. And special bonus! We are entering a cold war with china.

So let's buy a couple shares.

And thats a wrap, The cool thing about being a broke retail investor is that you only need to work about 10 mins a week.

Before you go I want to show you an actual photo of my shoes. It's important to note that I am putting money into the market before I "take care of myself" such as buy shoes. Because a penny saved is a penny earned!

The sell-off continues into the weekend. What is a sell-off?

So what is a sell-off? It's really simple, you see us retail investors buy securities and run the price of them up (such as TESLA or APPLE). And then the SELL-OFF phase comes when the institutional investors (banks and funds) sell most of their stuff and TAKE THE MONEY and PUT IT IN THEIR POCKET. As long as this is not the end of the world economic crisis it's a really good chance to pick up some stuff that has recently gone down at a cheaper price.
